The death occurred peacefully, at his late residence, on Tuesday, October 29, 2013, of Garth Schurman, of Summerside, aged 64 years. Born in Summerside, he was the son of the late Horatio and Mary (Ahearn) Schurman, Summerside, and the late Georgina (Schurman) Wright. Survived by his wife Sharon (Baglole) Schurman; son Rocky (Lesley) Schurman, Summerside; daughter Tara Lee Schurman (Rob Compton), Summerside; grandchildren Avery and Reid Schurman; special son-in-law Jamie Palmer; brothers Gary Perry; George (Violet) Wright; Jimmy (Glenda) Wright; Gordie (Cora-Lee) Wright; sisters Debbie Perry (Don MacDougall); Lillian Perry (Eddie Cameron); Linda Perry; Nancy Hinks; brothers-in-law Robert (Judy) Baglole; Kelvin (Kim) Baglole; Kenny (Sylvia) Baglole; Vernon (Nancy) Baglole; sisters-in-law Ruby (Dave) Poirier; Judy Baglole (Cliff Laviolette); Cindy DesRoches (Donnie Graham); special aunt Edna Gay; special uncle James H. Schurman; and by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister Nina Crossman; mother and father-in-law Margaret and Fielding Baglole; and by brothers-in-law Elmer and Elton Baglole. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Saturday, then to the Trinity United Church, Summerside, for funeral service at 11 a.m. Interment in Peoples Cemetery, Summerside. Visiting hours Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial donations to the hemodialysis unit or the oncology unit of the Prince County Hospital would be appreciated.
