It is with great sadness that the family of the late Rita Louise Bridger announce her passing on Wednesday, October 30th, 2013 at the Palliative Care Unit of the Western Memorial Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 85 years. She leaves to mourn: her daughter, Paulette (Mike) Pattersons of Trail, BC; her son, Douglas (Brenda) Bridger of Deer Lake; grandsons: Ian Bridger and fiancée Dawn Benteau of Mount Pearl, and Daniel Bridger of Fort McMurray, Alberta; sister, Nancy McDonald of North Pond Manor, Torbay. Also a large circle of other ­family members, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Ian; parents, Daniel & Florence Green; sister, Margaret Sheppard; brothers-in-law: Frank Sheppard and Michael McDonald. Visitation will take place from Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel, 63 Northmain Street, Deer Lake, on Friday from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. from St. Pauls United Church with Rev.
