JIMMY MACNEIL
Card of Thanks
Jimmy McNeil
We, the family of the late Jimmy McNeil, would like to extend a sincere and heartfelt thank you to everyone in his life-time who showed him how much he was loved. To all who went out of their way to keep Jimmy smiling, we are forever grateful. His excitement with every occasion brought out the kid in all of us. Paul and Janice, we will be forever grateful for all you've done for Jimmy over the years. Also, to so many friends (workers and patrons) of the Blue Mist, you treated Jimmy with such kindness and respect, thank you. A huge thank you to Dr. D. Kohlsmith, Dr. P. MacDonald, Dr. S.De, Sandra Toner, QEII Cardic Unit, St. Judes defibrillator program, and the nursing staff of the Regional Hospital, Northside General, and Palliative Care, you really went above and beyond with your care and compassion for Jimmy and our family. To everyone who came to visit or sit with him, thank you. Thank you to Fr. P. MacLeod , Fr. J. Andrea, and Fr. S. MacNeil for your heartfelt and touching service. Your comforting words resonated to all in attendance. Also thank you to the readers Cecilia Rendell-McNeil and Kenny Boutilier, to the family members who were pallbearers and his neices for presenting the offeratory gifts, and to all those who attended, thank you. After Jimmy's service was a lovely luncheon held in the Alder Point hall hosted by the Ladies Hospitality Group. Your thoughtfulness and kindness shown to us is greatly appreciated. To the staff of Francis' Funeral Home, your professionalism and compassion were indeed special. Thanks to Joe Reashore for helping with your kind gesture. To those who send online condolences, emails, facebook comments, sympathy cards, mass cards, charitable donations in Jimmy's name, phone calls, visits, prayers and for all the delicious food , again thank you. So many people shared memorable stories of Jimmy and of how he impacted their lives. This meant so much to our family. For those of you who shared our pain and walked through it with us, we are truly grateful. We remember Jimmy for his innocence and non-judgemental spirit. He loved everyone and everyone loved him. His smile will not be forgotten. Jimmy will also hold a special place in the hearts of so many, including all of his "girlfriends". Jimmy will now rest in heaven with other family members. Until we meet again.
Jimmy would want us to know
"I'm doing pretty good"
