JOHN HENRY KEVERKAMP

On November 1st, 2013, Mr. John Henry Keverkamp of Kamloops, passed away at the age of 85 years.
He is lovingly remembered by his son Michael Kemp (Terri Kemp) of Kamloops, B.C.
He is predeceased by his wife of 55 years Elisabeth Keverkamp, and his son Harry Johnson of Houston TX.
John was born in Assen, Holland on October 8th 1928. John and Elisabeth were married on August 11th, 1952. One month later, they immigrated to Canada. In 1962, they moved to the United States, residing in Bellevue, Washington until 1989. At this time they returned to Canada, to Langley. In 2006, John and his wife Elisabeth came to Kamloops, to the Renaissance Retirement Residence, to be closer to their son Michael and his wife Terri.
In October 2007 John's wife passed away and since then his health was compromised with Parkinson's disease. In 2010, John moved into Pinegrove where he was able to receive full care. In 2012, John moved to Kamloops Seniors Village to receive a private room where he spent the remainder of his life.
A Memorial Service will be held in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church on Friday, November 8th, 2013 at 11:00 a.m.
