Helen it’s been a year ago today that you’ve been gone,
We are finding it difficult to keep going on,
Our hearts are empty and saddened,
Knowing you are not here,
Our dreams are shattered because you had so much to live for,
And so much to do.
It still seems impossible that God has taken you,
And though your life on earth is past,
In Heaven it starts anew.

You will live for all eternity,
Just as God has promised you,
And though you’ve walked
through Heaven’s gate,
We are never far apart,
For every day we think of you,
You’re always in our hearts.

Forever loved, sadly missed, never forgotten.
