It is with great sadness that the family of the late AMBROSE MURPHY of Parker’s Cove announces his passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin, on Monday, November 4, at the age of 79. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are: Wife – Mary of 46 years; Son – Wayne (Lisa Crowley) of Parker’s Cove; 2 Precious Grandchildren – Jamie & Kaylie; Sisters-in-law – Alice (Arthur Gaulton) of Parker’s Cove & Mary Amon of Hamilton, ON; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. Predeceased by: Parents – Albert & Elizabeth Murphy; Brothers – John, Peter, Pius, Daniel, Gerald & Cecil Murphy; Sisters – Hannah Synard, Lucy Hickey, Selina Hefferan and Baby Sister – Agatha Murphy.

The Mass of Christian Burial took place on Thursday, November 7, at 1:00 p.m. from Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church. Interment followed at the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Parker’s Cove. In Ambrose’s memory donations may be made to Our Lady of Lourdes R.C. Church or Cemetery Fund or flowers gratefully accepted.
