SMITH, AUDREY - It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Audrey Cora Smith, which occurred on Tuesday November 5, 2013 at Bobby’s Hospice. Born 1949 in Bathurst, NB she was the daughter of Cora Smith and the late Walter Smith. Audrey enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, she was proud to be a member of TOPS Chapter 4564 for many years where she made lasting friendships. She loved spur of the moment road trips and was always up for an adventure. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her sons Donald (Kim) of Winnipeg, Charles (Jessica) and Jason (Odessa) both of Public Landing; daughters Cheryl (Jason) Hills and Darlene (Rob) Pigeau both of London, ON; and their father, Glenn Smith; 17 grandchildren; brothers Clayton (Ann) and Wayne (Karla) both of Bathurst and Nelson (Cindi) of Miramichi; sisters Ida (Leslie) Dean of Uxbridge, ON and Wanda (Raymond) Strickland of Hanover, ON; several cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers Byron and Sheldon (Margaret). The family would like to especially thank all the staff of Bobby’s Hospice and the Palliative Care unit at SJRH for all your love and care.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Rd. (646-2424) with visitations on Friday, November 8, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at 11 a.m. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
