
Omer Boudreau
BOUDREAU, OMER - Omer Boudreau, 91, husband of the late Faustine (2004), formerly of Petit-Cap, passed away on Thursday, November 7th, 2013 at the Villa Providence, Shediac. Born on January 1st, 1922 in Trois-Ruisseaux, he was the son of the late Alphée and Mélina (Léger) Boudreau. Prior to his retirement, Omer was the co-founder of Boudreau Farm & Sea. He enjoyed playing cards, spending time at the camp and hunting. He is survived by his five children: Bernadette Breau (late Aldoria), Marina Landry (Eugène) and Normand (Odette) all of Petit-Cap, Nicole Donelle (Gérald Bourgeois) of Shediac and Sonia Doiron (Eric) of Cap-Pelé; three sisters: Albanie Brun of Cap-Pelé, Armandine Robichaud (Ernest) of Shediac and Georgeline Babineau of Toronto, ON; one brother, Norbert (special friend, Eleanor Léger) of Petit-Cap; seven grandchildren: Marc, Angèle, Bobby, Guy, Julie, Benoît and Manuel; three great-grandchildren: Céline, Yannick and Alexane, as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his wife, he was predeceased by three brothers: Achille, Alvin and Rufin; one sister, Clémentine; one great-grandson, Zacharie Boudreau; one son in-law, Raoul Donelle.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Centre, 2642 Ch. Acadie, Cap-Pelé (577-3297) Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm ONLY. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Ste-Thérèse d’Avila R.C. Church, Cap-Pelé, on Monday, November 11th, 2013 at 2 pm. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. In memory of Omer, a contribution to the Alzheimer Society of New Brunswick or to the Ste-Thérèse d’Avila cemetery would be appreciated.
