After a courageous battle, Hazel Sutherland died peacefully with family by her side at the Prince George Hospice House on November 6, 2013 at the age of 88 years.

She is survived by her loving daughters Janice of Neudorf, Saskatchewan; Joan (Wayne) of Prince George, British Columbia; Holly (Dave) of Kamloops, British Columbia; and son Dwight of Fort St. John, British Columbia. Her sisters Georgia of Nanton, Alberta and Helen (Jim) of Nanton, Alberta.

She was predeceased by her husband Jim Sutherland.

A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the Nanton Cemetery. Family and friends will gather afterward at the Kozy Korner in Nanton, where we will Celebrate Hazel's life.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Hazel's memory to the Prince George Hospice Society.
