GARNETT, IRENE - Irene Ann Garnett, 64, of The Jordan Life Care Center, formerly of Havelock and a former member of the Havelock Legion Branch # 86, passed away at the Moncton City Hospital on November 11, 2013. Born in Havelock, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Evelyn (nee Votour) Baskin. Irene is survived by her life partner Bob Killam of Havelock; children: Annette Taylor of Havelock, Kenneth “Todd” Garnett of Havelock; sisters: Dorie (David) Luttger of Abbisford BC, Doreen (Paul) VanKoesveld of Havelock, Della (Raymond) Hetherington of Havelock, Judy (Danny) Desrusseau of Anagance and Edna Baskin of Moncton; brothers: Glenn Baskin of Lower Sackville, NS, and Bruce Baskin of Moncton; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2013 from 1 to 3 pm, at the Havelock Legion Lounge Branch #86, 4684 Route 880, Havelock, NB. As per Irene’s request there will be no funeral service held. In lieu of flowers, donations to Huntington Society of Canada or to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #86, Havelock, would be appreciated by the family.
