Beloved husband of Anita Rooney-McCabe (nee Murphy) and loving father of Ricky Rooney, Tracy Wood, Jackie Garnhum and Crystal Fay and stepfather of Janice Morrison and Jason and Ronnie McCabe. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home until Thursday, October 2, at 10:15 a.m., then transferred to St. Michael's Church, Iona, for celebration of funeral mass at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in the family plot at the church cemetery.
