DOODY, ROMA - Mrs. Roma Gertrude Charlotte (Cunning) Doody of Salisbury, passed away on November 17, 2013 at the age of 86. Roma was the daughter of Felix and Edith (Berchervaise) Cunning and wife of the late Ralph Doody who passed away in September 2013. Roma is survived by her children: Diana Bernier (Serge), Sylvia Lucas (Clifford), Elsie Rehel (Augustine), Susan McKoy (Donald), Eunice Mitton (Richard), Doris Mitton (Travis), Frederick (Peggy), Frank (Angela), Ralph (Patti), Lori Crealock (Brent) and by her daughter-in-law, Verna; as well as 30 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; Roma is predeceased by her sons, Roderick and Donald, her daughter Vina; her brother Ernest and her sisters Florence Pearson and Lorna Baird.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176). In honour of Roma’s wishes no visitation will take place. A graveside service celebrating Roma’s life will be held at Trinity Cemetery on November 20th, 2013 at 2:30pm. There will be a gathering at Lori and Brent's house at 17 Back Road immediately following the graveside service. If you are considering making a memorial donation the family has recommended the Moncton Hospital Palliative Care Unit.
