It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our sister and mother on November 6, 2013 at the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville, surrounded by love.
Born in New Glasgow to the late Fred and Jenny Gratto, Sis grew up in Priestville with her siblings and friends.
She lived the last number of years in Waterville, NS. Sis worked as a waitress most of her life. Her passion was picking blueberries, her computer and phone friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Amanda Sutherland, Vancouver; sisters: Mabel Hoare, New Glasgow; Ann (Doug) Fraser, Poplar Hill; Phyllis (Con) Jennex, New Waterford; Dena Burke, Hamilton, Ontario; brother, Robin (Noree) Gratto, Westville; many nieces and nephews.
Sis was predeceased by her husband, Lesley Fevens; brother, Chuck Gratto and brother-in-law, Bumper Hoare.
For Sis she believed a new life was beginning as this one ends. We send you to your new life with all our love.
There will be no visitation or funeral service by request of the deceased.
Burial of ashes will be in Yarmouth at a later date.
