At the Halifax Infirmary, Halifax, N.S., on Wednesday, October 1, 2008, of James Francis “Frank” Gallant, of Rocky Point, aged 62 years. Born in Duvar, he was the son of Phoebe (Gallant) Gallant, Summerside, and the late John J. Gallant. Survived by his wife, Susan (Smith) Gallant; children Wade, Angela Angot, Richard (Barbara), Laurie (Troy) Currie; grandchildren Tyler, Erin, Jenelle, Brianna, Marissa, Kyla, Ashley, Laureen and Troy; great-granddaughter Kearah; brothers and sisters Ivan (Shirley), Louis (Janet), Blair (Olivine), Myrna McNally, Wayne (Sherry), Peter (Darlene), Janet (Jerry) Tourout, Catherine (Bob) Graham and by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a sister, Karen Gallant. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where funeral service will be held on Monday at 10:30 a.m. No visiting hours by personal request.
