Dennis Michael Phillips passed away peacefully at his home near Innisfail,
Alberta, on November 10, 2013, at the age of 48 years.

Dennis leaves behind his sons, Aaron (Daisy) and Sean (Sean), mother, Donna Furgeson, father David and stepmother Cora, Siblings: his much loved sister, Tammie-Lynn (Floyd), Gerard, Terence, Darren (Carrie), Cassandra (Rob), Colin (Stefanie) and step-sister Kimberley, He also says
goodbye to his nieces and nephews, and his many extended family
members and friends.

Dennis was a joyous spirit who brought laughter and caring to his family and friends. His friendliness and laughter touched almost everyone he met.

Dennis enjoyed a simpler life, his loving dog Shelby, his horse Chico, riding, strumming his guitar, old cars, hunting, fishing,
prospecting and gold panning with the dream of striking it rich someday, to name a few. He was an artist, in his chosen profession, creating beautiful inlayed floors and carpets. Dennis loved to have family and friends in his presence be it out camping, visiting with a Timmy’s coffee in hand or out for a drive.

There will be a memorial service for family at Dennis’s favorite fishing hole and in Dennis’s beloved mountains to be announced at a later date.

I have heard that the only thing we take with us when we cross over is the love which we gave and received while we were here. I hope that’s true, and you feel us, your family, wrapping our love around you in an eternal hug.

Dennis, our beloved son, brother and father and friend, take our love with you on this part of your journey; know that our hearts ache for you, and that we will miss you every day.
