It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister Paula Marie MacDonald, 64, on Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013, at her home.
Born in North Sydney, Paula was a daughter of the late Harold and Evelyn (Gillam) Henry.
Paula is survived by her husband, Richard MacDonald; sons, Shawn (Angela), Paul (Anna), both of Sydney Mines, Shane (Lori Frizzel), Truro; daughters, Shawna MacDonald, at home, Shannon (Roger) Herridge, Sydney Mines, also her; 12 grandchildren; her sisters, Marion (Gary) MacNeil, New Waterford, Patsy Stamper, Scotch Lake; her brother,Gordon Henry.
Visitation for Paula will be held 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday in the W.J. Dooley Funeral Home, 107 Pleasant St., North Sydney. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Patrick O’Neill officiating. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Sydney.
