Born in Ellerslie, the son of the late Alvin and Gladys (MacNevin) Phillips. Dear father of Thelma Phillips (Steven Mayoff), Foxley River. Brother of Sterling Phillips, London, ON; brother-in-law of Daisy Phillips, O’Leary. Special uncle of Stephen (Linda) Hardy, Borden-Carleton; William (Darla) Hardy, Summerside; Barbara (Doug) Ness, Niagara Falls, ON; and also survived by several other nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Robert (Eunice), Wendell (Helen), Bertram, brother-in-law Edgar (Audrey) Hardy, nephew Stanley Hardy.
