It is with great sadness that the family of the late Alphonsus Hynes announce his passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital on November 22, 2013 at the age of 81 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories is his wife Theresa Rose, children: Pauline (John) Duffy in Vegreville, AB, Joyce (Clarence) Gallant in Stephenville, Alphonsus Junior in Port Au Port, Jacqueline (Darwin) Corbett in Lab. City, Gregory (Lori) Hynes in Brampton Ont., grandchildren: Jessica Duffy, Stephenie Duffy, Alisha Gallant, Aric Gallant brother William (Theresa) Hynes in Stephenville, special nephew Raymond (Monica) Hynes in Port Au Port, special niece Rose (Daniel) O’Connell in Florida and a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends He was predeceased by his parents John and Hannah (Dennis) Hynes, brothers: Charlie, Daniel, Ronald, Gordon, Patrick, Aloysius, Bernie, Hillary, sisters: Mary, Geraldine and grand daughter Jennifer. Friends may call at the Maria Regina Roman Catholic Church on Monday from 7-9 pm and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will take place on Wednesday November 27, 2013 at 10 am from the Parish Church with interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery on Berryhead.
