DAVIS, ROBERT - Unexpectedly at his home, Robert J. Davis, loving husband of Rose Bourque, passed away on Friday, November 22, 2013. Born in Saint John, NB August 10, 1952, he is the son of Donald and the late Shirley (LeBlanc) Davis. A carpenter by trade, Bobby hunted and fished in his earlier days, he loved the outdoors and he played hockey, golf and ball in the “Allied Fast Pitch League”. He and Rose enjoyed travelling, especially their trips to Florida. In addition to his wife and father, Bobby is survived by his children Timothy (Jessie), Alisha (Paul) Harder, Colin, and Danielle Davis (Matt), as well as, Roses’ children Carrie (Billy) Wagstaff, Jodie (Sheri) Bourque, and Kory Bourque; his brothers Butch (Cynthia); Leonard (Karen); and Raymond (Joann); sisters Della (Brian) Smith; and Wendy Whitenect; grandchildren Bailey, Lauren, Evelina, Aiden, Bryston, JJ, Calvin, Meadow, Abby and Abryona, and several extended family members. He will be greatly missed. Along with his mother, Robert was predeceased by his brother-in-law Sonny Whitenect.
Arrangements under the care and direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation Tuesday from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 27, 2013 from the funeral home Chapel at 11am followed by a reception at the funeral home. Interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
