Passed peacefully away in Palliative Care, surrounded by his loving wife and family on November 24, 2013, aged 79. Leaving with loving memories, his wife of 58 years, Ruth (nee Lundrigan); beloved children Leslie Newman (Joan); Joanne Nicholl (Ron); Linda Dugas (Kevin): Karen Clark (Stephen). Six grandchildren: Christine Pinsent (Jayson); Rhonda Evans (Trevor); Terry Newman (Jennifer); Erica Scott (Graeme); David Scott (Kiristan; Kaley Clark. Four great grandchildren: Ella Newman; Jacob Evans; Brooklyn Pinsent (and another baby girl on the way); three sisters: Charlotte, Joan and Lucy; one brother Hughie (Marg); sister-in-law Viola; as well as a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, November 26 and Wednesday, November 27. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 28, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Barrett's Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow at Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
