
Clifton Horne
HORNE, CLIFTON T. - It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Clifton Horne, age 77 years at the White Rapids Manor on Sunday, November 24, 2013. Born November 21, 1936 in Tracy, NB, he was the son of the late Ronald and Roberta (Phillips) Horne. Clifton was a trucker by trade and the trucking industry became his lifelong passion. He was a member of Calvary Pentecostal Lighthouse, Hoyt, NB. Clifton is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 56 years, Betty (Manuncia) Horne of Hoyt; sons Robin C. Horne (Jackie) of Saint John and Scott W. Horne (Jennifer) of Beaver Lodge, Alberta; two daughters, Carla L. Worden (Willard) of Hoyt and Sonya M. Regich (Andrew) of Black’s Harbour; 11 grandchildren and four great grandchildren; two sisters, Nancy Tracy of New York and Katherine Nason of Newcastle, NB; brothers-in-law, Reginald “Soney” Manuncia (Jeannie) of Hoyt and Don Hudlin (Mary) of Lincoln, NB; nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive condolences at Calvary Pentecostal Lighthouse, Hoyt, NB on Thursday, November 28, 2013 from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM. A celebration of Clifton’s life will be held from the church on Friday, November 29 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Andrew Regich officiating. Interment in the Tracy Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions be sent to White Rapids Manor Mini Bus Fund, Parkinson’s Society (NB) or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
