It is with great sadness that the family of the late Nellie H. Rumbolt (1929-2013) of Port au Choix, NL, announce her passing on Friday, Nov. 22, 2013 at Rufus Guinchard Health Centre in Port Saunders at the age of 84 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughters Faye (Sid) Buckle, Avelina (Reg) Rumbolt, Mary of Port au Choix, and Pearl of Ontario; sons Hank, Loman (Dinah) of Toronto, Craig (Rowena) of Fort McMurray, Junior, Brendon (Sheryl), and Todd (Sandy) of Port au Choix; grandchildren Connie, Vanessa, Patricia, Kenny, Dennis, Trista, Cody, Keegan, Rose, Jessie, Jamie, Bryanna, Samantha, Cory, Grant, Brett, Carrie, Quenton, and Velma; great-grandchildren Logan, Cameron, Kaylin, Amelia, Zachery, Cole, Nathaniel, Courtney, Cassie, Jayden, and Olivia; brothers Chesley, and Raymond (Yvonne); sisters Dulcie Emma (Jack), Melvie (Pius) and a large circle of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Fenton, sons Roy, Patrick, Dennis Lyman and daughter Flowere. Visitation took place at Fillatre’s Funeral Home in Port au Choix on Saturday and Sunday. Funeral service took place at St. Theresa’s Roman Catholic Church on Monday, Nov. 25 at 11 a.m. with Fr. Britto officiating, Interment followed at the Interfaith Cemetery, Sandy Cove.
