At the Dr. John M. Gillis Memorial Lodge, Belfast, peacefully with family at his side, on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 of Gerald McInnis of Earnscliffe, age 89 years.
Beloved husband of Frances McInnis (nee McCabe) and loving father of Linda Cannon (Alfred), Pius (Brenda), David (Beth) and Darryl (Charmaine). Gerald is also survived by his grandchildren - Brody Cannon (Rachel), Randy Cannon and Lindsay, Morgen, Kirby, Mallory and Nathan McInnis; and sisters-in-law - Mary and Patricia McInnis. He was predeceased by his parents - Jack and Jean McInnis; brothers - Frank, Reginald, Russell and William McInnis; and sisters - Helen Coady, Marion Roche and Louise McMurrer.
Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford, for visitation on Friday, November 29, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, November 30, at St. Joachim's Church, Vernon River, at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Canadian Diabetes Association or Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
