It is with great sadness that the family of the late Norris Granger Fitzgerald announce his passing at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at the age of 82 years. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife, Cora; children: Norrie (Mary), Jean (Bill), Sandra (Desmond), Shirley (Larry), Cindy (Phil), Laurie (Greg), Edwin (Rita), Sandy; 16 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Loris Paul, as well as a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Edwin & Pearl Fitzgerald and son, Lee. The funeral mass will take place on Saturday, November 30, 2013 from Assumption Church, Stephenville Crossing at 10:00 a.m. with Father Edmund Camacho officiating. Cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium. Inurnment will take place in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Stephenville Crossing, at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Lung Association. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing.
