DOUCETTE, Joanne Marie – age 52, Forbes Street, Yarmouth, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at home. Born August 29, 1961 in Yarmouth, she was a daughter of the late Arnold L. and Hilda R. (Babin) Cottreau. Joanne worked as a supervisor at Zellers for a number of years. She will be fondly remembered as a loving wife and mom, a kind-hearted and loving woman who held her family and friends close. She touched the hearts of everyone she met along life’s journey. She is survived by her husband, David Doucette, as well as by her children, Andrea (Jason) Hayes, Sandford and Gregory Doucette, Yarmouth, as well as by her twin grandchildren, Natalya and Caleb. Also surviving are a brother, Arnold Cottreau, Yarmouth, and sisters, Claudette (Greg) Pauzé, Kentville and Lillian Thibodeau (Narcisse Boudreau), Pubnico. She was predeceased by her parents, Arnold and Hilda. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of H. M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. A graveside service and burial took place at 2 p.m., Friday, November 29 at Yarmouth Mountain Cemetery, Parade St., Yarmouth, Pastor Oral Stewart officiated.
