
Robert Terrance Broderick
Peacefully, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, on November 27, 2013, following a lengthy illness, of Robert Terrance Broderick, age 73, of Point Prim, beloved husband and best friend to Shirley (Gormley) Broderick.
Born in Alberton, P.E.I., on March 31, 1940, he was the son of the late James and Ervetta “Betty” (Lewis) Broderick. Besides his beloved wife, Shirley, he is survived by sister, June (Don) Bradford; brothers, Irving (Mona) Broderick, David (Angela) Broderick, Keith (Judy) Broderick, Tony (Judy) Broderick; sisters-in-law, Greta (Preston) McGuigan, Joan Gormley; brothers-in-law, John P. (Norah) Gormley, Everett (Judy) Gormley, Ralph (Cindy) Gormley and Sherman Pace; also many nieces and nephews and friends, will mourn his passing.
Besides his parents, Bob was predeceased by an infant sister, Angela; father-in-law, Raymond Gormley; mother-in-law, Mary B. Gormley; sisters-in-law, Gloria Gormley, Joan Pace; brother-in-law, Carl Gormley; nephews, Paul and David McGuigan.
Bob was well known around Charlottetown as “Bob The Barber”.
Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home with visiting hours on Sunday, December 1, 2013, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will take place on Monday, December 2, 2013, from St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Sturgeon, at 11 a.m. Interment to take place in the parish cemetery.
Family flowers only, donations to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Kidney Foundation of P.E.I., or Big Brothers, Big Sisters of P.E.I. would be appreciated by the family.
