Passed peacefully away, surrounded by his loving family, at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre, Allan Joseph Coady at the age of 56 years. Predeceased by his parents – John Patrick and Christina Coady, brother – John Patrick Coady (Jr.), sister-in-law – Sheila Coady and brother-in-law – William Mayo. Leaving to celebrate his life with fond memories are: Sister – Bernadette (Dennis) Dwyer; nephews – John, Jeffrey and Jerry Dwyer; niece – Judith (Dwyer) Hurley and their families. Five other sisters – Patricia (Roland) Riggs, Joan Mayo, Evelyn (Gerry) Brown, Lorraine (Gary) Taylor and Mary Ann (Ronald) Broderick. Brothers – Gordon Coady and Wallace (Ann) Coady; sister-in-law – Betty Coady. Left also with cherished memories are a number of nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly, as well as a large circle of relatives, friends and coworkers. Allan’s faith, generosity, determination and courage were an inspiration to everyone around him.

The Mass of Christian Burial took place from Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Marystown, on Wednesday, November 27, at 11:00 a.m. officiated by the Reverend Father Cecil Critch. Interment followed at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery. In Allan’s memory donations may be made to the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre or flowers gratefully accepted.
