It is with great sadness that the family of the late ELSIE WALSH of Marystown announces her passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre, in Burin, on Thursday, November 21, at the age of 90. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are: Sons – Jim (Ellen) of Marystown, William of Marystown, Art (Anne Marie) of Marystown, Ralph (Agatha) of Marystown, John (Wanda) of Brampton, ON, Ron (Janice) of Brampton, ON; Daughters – Theresa (James Baker) of Moncton, NB, Annunciata (Tony Scacchi) of Hamilton, ON; 18 Grandchildren & 20 Great-Grandchildren; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. Predeceased by: Husband – Patrick; Parents – Thomas & Jessie Reid; Sons – Dermot, Eugene & Donald Walsh; Granddaughter – Jillian Walsh; Sisters – Mary Rowe, Theresa Kilfoy & Eileen Walsh; Brothers – Emile Reid & William Reid.

The Mass of Christian Burial took place at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Marystown on Saturday, November 23, at 10:00 a.m. Interment followed at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery in Marystown. In Elsie’s memory donations may be made to the Burin Peninsula Health Care Foundation or flowers gratefully accepted.
