Peacefully at the Riverview Manor, Montague, the passing of Olive MacLeod, age 90, formerly of Murray Harbour, wife of the late Ernest MacLeod, occurred on Sunday, December 1, 2013.
Born January 23, 1923 in Abney, P.E.I., she was the daughter of the late Henry and Estella (Moore) Richards. Olive is survived by and will be missed by her brother, Percy Richards; sister, Ethel Beck; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, Olive, was predeceased by brothers, Melvin and Clarence Richards; sisters, Vivian O'Connor, Edith Gillis, Greta Richards and Cecelia Penny.
Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home with visiting hours on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service to be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at 2 p.m. from the funeral home chapel. Interment to take place in the Murray Harbour Cemetery.
