WILLIAMSON, DOUGLAS - Douglas Reginald Williamson, 76, of Havelock, passed away Monday, December 2, 2013 at home. Born in Moncton he was the son of the late Gerald and Hazel (Prowse)Williamson. Douglas was a retired purchasing agent for PotashCorp, NB. He attended Havelock Wesleyan Church and was a member of the Shepody Fish and Game Association, NB Wildlife Federation and Miramichi Salmon Association. Survived and sadly missed by wife Juliette Crosby-Williamson; his children Gerald (Nancy) of Salisbury, Wayne (Jean) of Saint John, Brian (Heather) and Pamela Jardine (Kevin) both of Riverview; step-children Michelle Marr-Gilmore (Jim) of Steeves Settlement and Lisa Roberts (Robert) of Porters Lake, NS; brother Gerald of Vancouver; twelve grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
There will be no service as per Doug's request. Visiting will be Sunday, December 8, 2 to 4 p.m. at the Havelock Wesleyan Church. Arrangements are in the care of Salisbury Funeral Home and Crematorium (372-4800).
