It is with great sadness the family of Levinia Barrett announce her passing at the Long Term Care Facility in Corner Brook, NL on Tuesday, December 3rd, 2013, at the age of 85 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her son, Gary (Corner Brook); daughters: Maunda (Deer Lake), Barbie (Fort McMurray); granddaughter, Heidi (Jamie) Mullins, Paradise; grandsons: Andrew (Stephanie), Labrador City, Mitchell (Sara), Labrador City; brothers: Eric Chaulk and Bill Chaulk; and sister, Gladys Jenkins. Also a large number of nieces, nephews and friends. Levinia was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Baxter; her daughter, Wavey Chipp; brothers: Stewart Chaulk and Wes Chaulk; sister, Effie Chaulk and parents, Maggie & William Chaulk. The family will be receiving family and friends at Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel, 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, on Wednesday, December 4th from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday, December 5th, 2013, from 10-11 a.m. The funeral service will take place at The Salvation Army Church, Deer Lake, with Major Wayne Pike officiating. Burial to follow at the family plot on Wights Road, Deer Lake. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Diabetes Association.
