The death occurred at Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Monday, December 2, 2013, of James William DesRoche, Kensington, formerly of Forest View, aged 52. Born in O'Leary on December 24, 1960, he is the loving son of Leta (nee Collicutt), Forest View, and the late James "Jimmy" Sr. Dear stepfather to Shawn (Tanya Wedge); Shanna (Neil) MacNevin, all of Fox Creek, AB.; Sindy (Devon) MacKay, St. Louis; Steven (Kristen) Wedge, Knutsford; and grandfather to five grandchildren. James is also survived by brothers and sisters: Elva (Fred Young), Kensington; Margaret Ann (Wallace) Smallman, Juanita (Rickey) Gallant, George, Faye (John) Smallman, Allen (Jennifer), all of Forest View; Gordon (Tracey), Palmer Road; Lee-Roy (Mary Lou), Greenwood, NS; Joanie (Jason) DesRoche, Summerside. Predeceased by his father and brother Keith. Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O'Leary, with visiting hours Thursday, Dec. 5, from 6-8 p.m. and Friday, Dec. 6, until 10 a.m. then to St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church, Bloomfield, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow in the Parish Cemetery.
