Doris Graham

GRAHAM, DORIS BEATRICE - It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our mother, Doris B. Graham of Forest City, NB on December 4, 2013 at her home with Holly, her loving dog, by her side. Doris was born at Maxwell, York Co., NB on September 11, 1934. In her early years, Doris worked picking apples, potatoes and brussel sprouts and drove school bus on a casual basis. She was a TOPS member. Doris loved animals, especially her dog. In her later years, she spent more time at home and less time travelling. She enjoyed feeding the birds and squirrels and watching their antics. She even had a squirrel crossing sign. Doris took great pleasure in dining in the great outdoors, especially at Gary’s Dinner Hole, where she had her own personalized parking sign. Her year round Christmas lights welcomed everyone to Forest City. She had a direct phone line to NB Power and DOT and she used it often. Doris was famous for her homemade salad dressing, relish, strawberry jelly and chocolate fudge. She is survived by her daughters, Carol Ann Theriault (Roger), Lake George, NB, Judy McAllister (Gary), Green Mountain and Upper Kingsclear, NB, Paulette Harvey (Stephen), McAdam, NB and Tina Collier (Blake), Southampton, NB; seven grandchildren, Paul Theriault (Carole), Michelle Thornton (Cordell), Jonathan McAllister (Theresa), Christina Harvey (Bowen), Mitchell Harvey (Tara), Graham Collier and Tyson Collier; seven great grandchildren, Louis, Dawson, Tristan, Jace, Reid, Riley and Bowen; a brother, Thomas Murray (Irene), Ontario; two sisters, Donna Gough (Steven), Salisbury, NB and Ruth Murray, Richmond Corner, NB; two sisters-in-law, Juanita MacArthur, Waterville, York Co., NB and Winona Hawkes, Woodstock, NB; several nieces and nephews.
