NEW GLASGOW – Teresa Elizabeth Ryan, 81, East River Manor, New Glasgow, passed away, Tuesday, December 10, 2013 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow, surrounded by her family.
Born in Guysborough County, she was a daughter of the late John Lawrence and Annie Elmira (Delehanty) Bonvie.
In earlier years she had been employed as a cook with Colchester Hospital and at the Lismore fish plant. Teresa was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.
Surviving are daughters, Terri (Donald) Hayes, Rose Ryan, Tamara Ryan; sons, Sean, Patric (David); four grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband Donald Alexander Ryan; son, Daniel; daughter, Colleen.
There will be no visitation or funeral service at Teresa’s request.
Donations may be made in her memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
