Passed peacefully away at Bonnews Lodge, Badger's Quay on Monday, December 9, 2013 Josephine Louise Janes age 84 years of Greenspond. Predeceased by her husband; Gordon, parents; Llewellyn and Elizabeth Burry, brothers; Raymond and Lewis Burry, sisters; Marion Snelgrove and Cathleen Burry and great-granddaughter; Faith Janes. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her son; Roger (Pauline) of Corner Brook, daughter; Eileen (Ernest Boyde) of New World Island, sisters; Verna (Baxter Parsons) of Bloomfield and Jeanette White of St. John's, 5 grandchildren; Trevor, Theresa, Sheldon, Jason and Lori, 4 great grandchildren; Belle, Avery, Mia and Maci and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Funeral service took place at the United Church, Greenspond on Thursday, December 12, 2013 with Rev. Brian Hannon officiating, assisted by Captains Elsie and Ken Brown. Interment followed at the Interfaith Cemetery, Shamblers Cove, Greenspond. Donations in her memory may be made to The Janeway Children's Hospital Foundation.
