Morton, Ann Marie – of Truro, passed away December 13, 2013 at the Colchester East Hants Health Centre. Born in Kentville on April 23, 1946 she was the daughter of the late Harold and Ann (Dodd) Morton. Ann is survived by aunts, cousins, and nieces. She was predeceased by her sister, Patricia McKillop. The family would like to thank Dr. Courtney Smith, Dr. Henderson and the entire Palliative Care and Hospice teams for their care and compassion and the Truro Mental Health Association. Special thanks to Audrey for always being there for Ann. Arrangements are under the direction of Mattatall ~ Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro. At Ann’s request there will be no service. Graveside service will be held at a later date in the spring in Pine Grove Cemetery, East Stewiacke. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Ann to Colchester East Hants Hospice Society or to Colchester East Hants Palliative Care .
