Ronald Depres
DESPRÉS, RONALD - Ronald Deprés, 79, of Notre-Dame, passed away on Wednesday December 11, 2013 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC.
Born on April 24, 1934 in Cocagne, he was the son of the late Amédée and Eva (Goguen) Després. Ronald was a multi-talented artist. He was a knife maker, wood carver, and a jack of all trades. Prior to his retirement, Ronald was employed at Speedy Muffler. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Bertha (Caissie); six children: Roger, Paul (Joanne), Maurice (Joanne), Michel (Nada), Jean (Robin), and Rachel Allain (Gary); 16 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren ; one sister, Alberta LeBlanc (Thomas); one brother-in-law, Leonard Goguen; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one son, Daniel (1975) and one sister, Flora Goguen.
The family will receive condolences at Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur R.C. Church, 3863 Route 115, Notre-Dame, from where the funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at 10:30 am. Visiting hours Monday from 7 to 9 pm and Tuesday from 9:30 am until time of funeral. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
