It is with great sadness that the family of the late Colin John Young announces his passing on Sunday, December 15, 2013 in Norris Arm North at the age of 56 years. He will be forever loved and missed by his wife Alvina; children: Shelly (Trevor) Oake, Trista (Robert) England, Marie, Lisa, Cassandra, Colin; grandchildren: Landen, Jayden; brothers: Gary (Marilyn), Douglas, Guy, Daniel (Sandra); sisters: Marilyn (Verdon) Jesso, Dianne (Jim) Hennessey, Loretta, as well as nieces, nephews other relatives, co-workers and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Daniel & Gertrude Young and sister, Marie. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing, on Thursday and Friday from 2–4 and 7-9 p.m. The Non-Denominational Christian Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, December 21, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Mary The Virgin Anglican Church, St. George’s, with Interment to follow at the Non-Denominational Christian Cemetery in St. George’s. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
