Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Complex on Tuesday, December 17th, after a short illness, Jean Bowering, aged 91 years. Predeceased by her husband Dugald (2005), and her brothers Fred and Bert Penney. Leaving to mourn, her sister-in-law Francis Bowering; many loving nieces and nephews; her excellent neighbours: Stan and Iris Pickett, and Sue and John Evans; as well as many other good friends, including the choir at St. James United Church, where Jean was actively involved for many years. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, on Thursday, December 19th, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service to take place on Friday, December 20th, at 2:00pm from St. James United Church, 330 Elizabeth Avenue, with interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
