It is with great sadness that the family of the late Patricia Butler announce her passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at the age of 95 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her daughters: Shirley Jung (Joseph) and Beth Goosney; grandchildren: Joseph Jung (Margaret), John Jung, Patricia-Anne Jung (Jason Appel), Michael Butler, Jennifer Brunn (Arlen Fleury), Lisa Caines (Thomas) and Paula Pinhorn (Michael); great-grandchildren: Tyler and Cassidy Brunn, Heidi and Johana Jung, Claire and Andrew Caines and Owen Pinhorn, as well as a large circle of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Bertram J. Butler (1977); son, Donald J. Butler; parents, Andrew and Dora Barrett; son-in-law, James Goosney and 13 siblings. Friends may visit Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road, on Thursday between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place from St. Mary’s Anglican Church in Curling on Friday, December 20, 2013 at 2:00 p.m., with Reverend Rose Marie Payne officiating. In keeping with Patricia’s wishes, ­cremation will take place. Interment will follow from Mt. Patricia Cemetery at a later date. As expressions of ­sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to The Mazol Shriners or the charity of one’s choice.
