Born in Conway on March 14, 1923, the daughter of the late Nelson and Lula (Huestis) Palmer. Dear sister of Hazel Grigg, Summerside. Sister-in-law of Delcie MacNevin, Halifax, N.S.; Ruby Smith, Summerside; Marjorie Smith, Freeland; and Pearl Smith, Charlottetown. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a son, Elzie Clair; brother, Sterling; and sister, Jean Rayner. Resting at the Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel with visiting hours Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral on Monday at St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Foxley River, at 11 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery.
