STELLARTON – Frank Arthur Eaton, age 57, of Kirk Ave., Stellarton, passed away on Wednesday, December 18th, 2013 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of the late Robert (Bob) and Julia (Jamieson) Eaton.
Frank worked at Michelin, Trenton Works, lastly he was employed by Bill Stewart’s. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing darts and washer toss. He also enjoyed going to exhibitions to watch his family show their horses. He was a very active and outgoing person and he loved to tease the kids. Frank liked going for walks with his best girl, pet dog Bella.
He will be sadly missed by his family and many, many friends.
Surviving are his wife of 35 years Marjorie (Linthorne) Eaton; daughter Margaret (Ron) MacKenzie; grandchildren: Mandy, Justin and Logan; great-grandchildren, Jenna and Jaret; brothers: Robert (Donna), Pictou; Kevin, Stellarton; sisters: Elsie (John), Stellarton; Heather (Aubrey), Tatamagouche; Lori (Shawn), Bridgeville; many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
He was predeceased by his parents, sister Julia Eaton Linthorne, granddaughter Frances Ann (Frankie), grandparents Arthur and Ellen Francis Eaton, grandfather Edison Jamieson, grandmother Nettie Louise Eaton, Aunt June Eaton, Uncle Carman and Aunt Alice Jamieson, father-in-law Harvey Linthorne, brother-in-law Frederick N. Linthorne, sisters-in-law Brenda (Halverson) Rhyno, Marlene and Heather Linthorne.
The family will receive visitors from 2-4 and7-9 p.m. on Sunday in the H.C. MacQuarrie Funeral Chapel, Stellarton. A funeral service will be held on Monday at 2 p.m. from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Aidan Kingsbury officiating. Cremation will follow the service.
