Brian Farrow, a former resident of Warburton Road, Gardiner Mines, passed away on Friday, Dec. 20, 2013 at the Glace Bay Hospital.
At the time of his passing, Brian resided at Taigh Na Mara Nursing Home, Glace Bay.
Born in Gardiner Mines, Brian was the son of the late William and Mary (Mackie) Farrow.
He was a former member of St. James Church, Gardiner Mines. Brian played guitar, sang country songs and was an avid dart shooter.
He is survived by two sisters, Catherine Cotter, Sydney, Marilyn Farrow, Glace Bay; two nieces, Natasha Petrie, Jillian Cotter and one nephew, Jarid Cotter.
No visitation, cremation has taken place. The funeral service will be held on Monday at 2 p.m. in the V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home Chapel, 16 Reserve St., Glace Bay. Fr. Dan Boudreau officiating. Interment in St. James Cemetery, Gardiner Mines.
