Suddenly at home on Saturday, October 11, 2008, of Olive Mae Dennis of Ellerslie, aged 78, beloved wife of Erwin Dennis. Born in Ellerslie on January 30, 1930, the daughter of Layton Millar, Lady’s Slipper Villa, O’Leary, and the late Rosella (Williams) Millar. Cherished mother of Barry (Susan), Fredericton, N.B.; Barbara Sheen (Hugh Graham), St. Andrews, N.B.; Brian (Edna), Ellerslie; Betty (Elzie) Smith, Bideford; Bruce (Marigail), Fredericton, N.B. Loving grandmother of 13 grandchildren, several step-grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Sister-in-law of Blanche Millar, Bedford, N.S.; Celie Dennis, Miscouche; Reagh (Rose Marie) Dennis, Halifax; Arnett (Maralee) Dennis, Rapid City, North Dakota; Clare (Julie) Dennis, Port Dover, ON; Edgar (Janet) Dennis, Port Hill; Jennie Dennis, St. Eleanors. Niece of Daisy Phillips, O’Leary; Mae (Alvin) Hardy, O’Leary. Predeceased by brothers Roland and Stewart in infancy and Cyril. Resting at the Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel where visiting hours were Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral on Tuesday at St. John’s Anglican Church, Ellerslie, at 11 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery.
