LEBLANC, OVILA - Ovila LeBlanc, 81, of Auberge Ste-Thérèse, Cap-Pelé, passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2013 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont UHC following a lengthy illness. Born in St-André,
he was the son of the late Arthur and Elizabeth (Donnelle) LeBlanc. He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Jeannette née Vautour; seven children: Lucille Brine (Michel) of Shemogue, Linda Goguen (Louis-Philippe) of Shediac, Denise LeBlanc (Ola) of Portage, Suzanne (Michel) of Trois-Ruisseaux, Paul (Angele), Maurice (Francine), and Normand LeBlanc all of St-André-LeBlanc; eight grandchildren: Eddy, Francis, Julie, Joline, Amanda, Kimberley, Christine and Justin; six great grandchildren: Kayden, Alexandre, Maxime, Brady, Draven, and Jakob; a sister, Delphine LeBlanc (late Aquila) of Cap-Pelé; a brother, Lionel(Dorina) of St-André-LeBlanc; many nieces, and nephews.
No visitation by request of the family. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Ste-Thérèse d'Avila R.C. Church, 2648 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé, on Friday, December 27 at 10:30 am. Interment will be in the Parish cemetery. In memory of Ovila, a contribution to the family or to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated.
