BARNETT, JAMES (JIM) W. - 1919 - 2013 - Jim Barnett of Monarch Nursing Home passed away peacefully on Friday, December 20, 2013. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late James W. and Lucy Barnett (Humphrey) and was retired from MFM Industries. He proudly supported WWII by serving the Commonwealth Air Training Programs in CFB Chatham and Neepowa, Manitoba. He will be dearly missed by daughters, Pamela Barnett of Saint John; and Joan Barnett of Toronto; son, Paul (Gail) of Winnipeg, and his five grandchildren. Besides his parents, Jim was predeceased by his beloved wife, Marjorie (Burlock) and his brother Bill.
There will be no visitation or funeral service by request. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Cobb's Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd., Riverview (869-2007). The burial will take place in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. Donations made in memory of Jim to the Arthritis Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
