
Pearl Audrey Cannon
Peacefully, at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Friday, December 20, 2013, of Pearl Audrey Cannon of Norboro, aged 88 years.
Born in Kelvin Grove on August 28, 1925, daughter of the late Edmund and Bessie (Andrews) Stavert. Left to mourn her passing are Elmer, her husband of 68 years, as well as her children, Doreen Sturgess, Summerside; Marlyne (Tom) MacDonald, Kensington; Wayne, Hamilton, Ontario; and Dianne (Jim) Burch, Fredericton, N.B. Grandmother to Tammy MacDonald, Shawn (Natasha) MacDonald; Shane (Desiree), Chantal and Trevor Cannon; Christy (Todd Stewart) and Lori Burch. Great-grandmother to Jordan, Tayla, Maddison, Connor and Shelby MacDonald; Brooke Minielly-Cannon and Bridget Stewart. Sister of Edythe (James) Brown, Ruth Mountain, Jean Paynter, Olive Jollimore, Leota (Keith) Dykeman and Lois (Bill) Daley. Sister-in-law of Gladys Paynter and Viola Blanchard. Also surviving are a number of nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by brothers, Walter and Albert Stavert; sister-in-law, Mae Stavert; and brothers-in-law, Robert (Bob) Jollimore and Robert Mountain.
Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington, for visitation on Tuesday, December 24, from 11 a.m to 1:15 p.m., followed by funeral in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 1:30 p.m. Interment in People’s Cemetery, Kensington.
