The death occurred peacefully at the Palliative Care Unit of the Prince Edward Home on Sunday October 12, 2008, after a courageous battle with cancer of Linda Ryan of Charlottetown, aged 60 years. Dear mother of Matthew Gauthier and cherished daughter of Gladys Ryan and beloved sister of Donna (Paul) Casford. Linda is also fondly remembered by her niece Linda (Jeff) McKenna and their children Ryan and Maggie and nephew Richie (Valana) Casford. She was predeceased by her father Richard (Dick) Ryan, her infant sister Sharon and nephew Robbie Casford. Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until 9:45 on Wednesday morning, then transferred to St. Dunstan’s Basilica for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment to follow in the family plot in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. If so desired memorial in Linda’s memory may be made to Hospice-Palliative Care Association of Charlottetown.
