WARD, MARION H. - It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Marion H. Ward, 97, of The Grass Home, Riverview and formerly of Salisbury Rd., Moncton, which occurred peacefully on Wednesday, December 25, 2013 with her family at her side. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Hans Christian and Emily (Spence) Sundby. Marion was a member of Steeves Memorial United Church and a former member of the U.C.W., and the Eastern Star. Marion's joy was her family and friends and always loved a good laugh, she made many beautiful quilts and loved doing cross stich and knitting socks. Marion will be sadly missed by her daughters Janice Wilson (Doug) of Moncton, Natalie Watters of Cassie Cape , a son Boyce Ward (Sharon) of Moncton, precious grandchildren Kenneth, Todd, Krista, Angela, Darren and Christopher, cherished great grandchildren Emily, Megan, Andrea, Alexander, Connor, Madison, Ella, Logan and Kristin, several nieces, nephews and extended family members. In addition to her parents Marion was predeceased by her husband Ray Ward (1973), sisters Esther Ward and Dorritt Urquhart and one brother Merrill Sundby.
Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Rd. Moncton NB (858-1995), on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. Funeral Service at Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 11 am with Rev. Carol Mullin officiating. Reception will follow in the Funeral Home Reception Center.
