At the Garden Home, Charlottetown, the passing of Jessie Margaret MacPherson(nee Lord), age 92, wife of the late Arthur MacPherson, occurred on Friday, December 27, 2013.
Born in North Tryon, P.E.I., January 17, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary (MacQuarrie) Lord.
Jessie is survived by her loving children, Charles, Leah (Barry) Ziegler; grandchildren, George Ziegler, Darren MacPherson; several nieces and nephews; and sister-in-law, Edna Lord. Besides her parents and husband she was predeceased by a grandson, Rob MacPherson; brothers, Sterling (Evelyn), Norman (Lorraine), Gordon (Marion), Ernest; sisters, Ruby (Lorne), Bertha (Guy), Leah (Arthur) and Helen (Bill).
Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home from where the service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, December 30, 2013 at 2 p.m. Visiting hours on Monday from 12:30 p.m. until service time. Interment to take place in the Orwell Head Cemetery.
Flowers are to be greatly declined. Donations in Jessie's memory to the Orwell Head Cemetery or the QEH would be appreciated.
